Hi! I'm Stephen Johnson. Thanks so much for visiting my website and viewing my work. I've always loved stories. For as long as I can remember I wanted to read books, watch movies, sketch, draw, or paint. As I've grown as an artist, my life's passion has become the visual story. My ultimate goal in photography is for viewers to feel emotion when they see my work. Joy. Pain. Empathy. Wonder. Every part of the human condition tells an authentic story and contributes to the global narrative.
For the past several years, I've had the privilege to travel and photograph in nine different countries, be published by the likes of People Magazine and the IMB, and be able to photograph for the likes of Thomas Rhett, Tim McGraw, Josh Turner, Riff Raff, Ca$h Out, just to name a few. Currently, I've had four years experience with photography, from time-lapse, to portraits, to wildlife. I've also had around three years experience with videography, from shooting documentary film, BTS for music videos and feature films, wildlife, concerts, and more.
I currently shoot on a Canon full-frame DSLR camera with Canon L Lenses, EF lenses, and Sigma Art primes. I've had experience shooting with the Sony A7 and FS7, Canon C100 and C300, Rokinon Cinema primes, Canon cinema primes, and Zeiss Compact Primes.
